DZELZS VILKS takes part in Latvian Daile Theater's staging of “Man arī būtu bail” (I'd be scared/afraid too) based on the works of Charles Bukowski, written by Mihail Obraztsov, directed by Mihails Gruzdovs and starring Ģirts Ķesteris. The production is accompanied by DZV's music with lyrics written by Juris, who also takes a prominent part in the play.

In Autumn the band records a cover of Zigmars Liepiņš' tune “Tā es mīlu” (The Way I Love), owning the local radio charts for several months.

“Vēlreiz” (“Again”) is the first of several DZELZS VILKS singles to enter Radio SWH charts.

Label UPE releases the album “Lai arī tu būtu ar mani” (So that you'd be with me too)

DZELZS VILKS begin performing live actively.

New songs are recorded in Sigulda with producer Gints Sola, as well as in Riga with Tālis Timrots.

Revolutionary changes in DZELZS VILKS line-up take place as the band is joined by keyboardist and programmer Kaspars Tobis and drummer Mārcis Judzis.
